Free Servicing

I just got my BMX from Mainly does it get free servicing?

Yes.

When should i bring it in for the first service?

After 4 to 5 weeks. Or if you ride it a lot bring it in sooner.

How long does it take?

1 to 2 days. Try to bring it in at the start of the week so you can pick it up by Wednesday or Thursday.
If you bring it in at the end of the week chances are you will not have it back by the weekend.

Why does it need a service?

Things get loose. The chain, Brake cable and spokes all stretch. So they need to be tightened up.
The headset and cranks can also loosen up so keep an eye on it.

LayBy

Does Mainly BMX have LayBy?

Yes

Can we LayBy a Clearance or Sale item?

NO.

Layby Terms:

Deposit = 20%
Length = No More than 8 Weeks
Payments = We expect payments either weekly or fortnightly.

Can a LayBy be Cancelled?

Yes.  There is an Admin Fee charged if you cancel your layby.

What does this mean?

Mainly will charge an Admin fee for cancelling your Layby. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Warranty

Does my product have a warranty?

Yes just about everything has a warranty.
The only exception is tyres and tubes.

How long is my warranty?

Every item is different.
Every Brand is different.
Complete bikes from as little as 90 days to 12 months.
This will usually cover just the frame.
All other parts will have a different time period.

Most aftermarket parts have a 90 day warranty some have more. Again it depends on the Brand.

What does it cover?

It covers things classed as manufacturers faults, things like cracked welds or breaks.

I have bent my Frame is it covered?

No.
Warranty does not cover bends or rider abuse. Things like Scratches or worn tyres, worn pedals or worn grips.

I am not sure if this is covered under warranty?

Drop into Mainly & we will have a look and let you know.

I brought this BMX from a friend is it covered under warranty still?

No. Warranty does NOT transfer to the next owner.
Any warranty period left is lost once it is sold, swapped or gven to a next owner.
